Her journey in architectural writing began during her B.Arch studies at Aayojan School of Architecture and Design and evolved into a career collaborating with renowned brands like Tata Structura, Wooden Owl Design and Esprit Architecture for SEO-optimized content blogs, magazine features, project documentation and social media. Ruchika’s writing style is known for its conversational tone, making complex architectural concepts approachable for a wider audience. To sharpen her skills further, she trained under Ar. Apurva Bose Dutta's 'Writings in Architecture' course, gaining expertise in architectural criticism, content engagement, and SEO. Her dedication has been recognized with awards like the Silk Matters Affiliate Award (print media) and the AJC Architectural Poetry Certificate. In May 2024, she launched ArchWhispers.com to bridge the gap between architecture, home decor, and the public. As an architectural journalist, she strives to make the world of design more inclusive and understandable, creating a platform where technical expertise meets relatable, engaging storytelling. In fact, today, she curates and formats the 'Architectural Journalism' elective at various colleges and helps many more architectural writers build their career rightly.

Our story begins with Ruchika, who took an architectural journalism class due to her passion for content writing, blogging & her immense love for buildings. Fast-forward to her numerous architectural magazine internships, where Ruchika realized the design content was drier than a forgotten everything bagel. So, she did what any passionate renegade would do: she grabbed her metaphorical paintbrush and launched Archwhispers.
